You know what’s better than planning? Executing. But let’s keep it real, planning is the easy part and executing is the hard part. Life can get in the way when it’s time to execute-work, kids, school, cleaning, cooking, etc. There are so many things we can list as reasons for not work on our goals.
For me, it’s very easy to get overwhelmed by the vision I have and the work that is necessary to get there. My overwhelm morphs into the lack of productivity. By being overwhelmed by the end goal or vision, I make it difficult for myself to enjoy the journey and to get a simple daily task done.
- Earl Nightingale SAYS that “success is the progressive realization of a worthy goal or ideal.” It’s all about those completing those little tasks daily. By doing something every day that contributes to our vision (send an email, workout, research a topic, etc.) we are successful and are making progress towards our goals. We can complete our daily task knowing that they serve a larger purpose and that we are working towards something great. But in order to make progress on our goals, we have to be organized and clear on what must be done.
While looking over my plans for the rest of the year, I realized that in order to get anything done I have to be strategic and not leave things to chance. I created the to-do list to hold myself accountable and thought others may find it useful. Click the image below to download the to-do list! Remember this printable is for personal use only.
Have a great weekend. Get to planning….and EXECUTING! This weekend I’ll be updating my SHOP and creating post for Love, Jenell and social media. What are you working on?
Remember! You got this, and God’s got you!
