Sometimes we can be in situations that look crazy and feel uncomfortable, but we may be exactly where God wants us to be. We could be living an answered prayer at the same time that we are going through a difficult situation. You prayed to start a new business. You prayed for a new job. You prayed to relocate. You prayed to go back to school. You prayed for a healthy relationship. So what you don’t know anyone in your new city; you’ll make friends. So what you are tired from studying; you’ll be done with school before you know it. So what your funds are low because you are starting a business; things will turn around. Don’t let your right now make you romanticize your past, the very things you prayed God to deliver you from. I would rather put my trust in God and look towards the future then turn around and quit.
Putting Faith Over Fear
This past week I was talking to my best friend about the importance of putting faith over fear. Our conversation made me think about what it means as a Christian to want to accomplish things that seem bigger than us but also knowing that we serve mighty God. New things and different challenges can be frightening, so it’s natural to be a bit apprehensive and leery of what may come next. But as a Christian we are blessed enough to have our faith to give us the energy and strength to get us through tough times.
